DCU scans the entire collection and converts all the cue points and the first downbeat of the track automatically for all tracks in the collection.
In conjunction with Pioneer's Rekordbox and Native Instrument's Traktor the utility can be used without the need for additional software.
Serato DJ users require Rekord Buddy 2 (or a rekordbox.xml file with valid cue points and beatgrids).
If djay pro for MacOS is installed, DCU can install the converted file in the proper location automatically.
Rekordbox users need to go through the RekordBox.xml file to import the tracks into Rekordbox
Users can chose to create a playlist in iTunes holding all tracks that have cue points. This option is very convenient for users of djay on an iOS device. It will
take the guess work out of track synchronization.
